Usage Instructions and User Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Open Data Users:

• Visitors and beneficiaries of the portal should review the data usage policy regularly to stay informed of any updates.

• Reading the policy or using the open data constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms and conditions of the open data reuse policy.

• EXPRO allows users to access open data and grants them the right to use it at their own responsibility. This right is available to all beneficiaries free of charge.

• Users are responsible for how they reuse the data and must ensure that no errors arise related to the reuse of data’s content, source, or date.

EXPRO Responsibilities:

The Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority shall not guarantee the continuous availability of all or part of the data. Additionally:

• It is not responsible for any errors or missing information in the open data.

• It is not responsible for any intellectual outputs, studies, or reports based on the data.

• It is not liable for any damage or misuse affecting individuals, entities, or organizations resulting from the use of the published data.

• It assumes no responsibility for any loss or harm incurred by users due to data reuse.

Reuse of Open Data Conditions:

• Users must not alter or distort the open data published on EXPRO’s portal.

• The data must not be used for political purposes, illegal or criminal activities, or in ways that promote racism, discrimination, incitement, cultural harm, inequality, or any activity that violates the laws, customs, or traditions of the Kingdom.

• Proper attribution of data reuse must be provided by referencing EXPRO’s portal link to preserve intellectual property rights, credibility, and source accuracy.

• Users are fully responsible for reusing the data and must ensure no errors are introduced regarding its content, source, or date.

• The data must not be used in a way that implies official endorsement or special authorization.

• The reading of this policy or the use of open data available on the portal shall constitute an acknowledgment by the user of their commitment to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in the Open Data Reuse Policy.
