EXPRO's experience in facilities management and maintenance received international recognition during the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) ceremony, which highlights success stories of prominent organizations and entities in facility management practices and achieving operational sustainability.
EXPRO was honored for its excellence in meeting the five key facility assessment criteria: construction, development, and implementation; innovation in facility management; organizational outcomes; leadership and success in facility management; and global engagement in facility management.
Eng. Turki bin Ahmed Bukhari, Executive Vice President for Government Enablement at EXPRO, said: "The international recognition received by EXPRO reflects the Kingdom's dedication to implementing effective practices in facilities management, maintenance, and operational sustainability. This is achieved in partnership with pioneering government entities that adopt the best local and global practices outlined in the National Manual for Assets and Facilities Management. These efforts have contributed to raising the quality of public facilities and services provided by government entities, enhancing sustainable development, and achieving optimal value for public money.”
The manual is designed for several government sectors, including education, healthcare, security, military, buildings, and infrastructure. They cover a range of areas such as emergency management, energy and sustainability, maintenance, environmental health and safety, risk management, contract management, financial planning, quality assurance, as well as asset management and condition assessment.
This is achieved through a systematic evaluation of the current status of key government partners, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing initiatives based on the requirements of the National Manual For Assets and Facilities Management that support the achievement of the targeted operating model.
EXPRO supports government entities in enhancing expenditure efficiency, optimizing public procurement, and improving the quality of projects, assets, and facilities. Additionally, it strengthens infrastructure, programs, initiatives, and operational planning, develops policies, regulations, and methodologies, and builds national talent capabilities
